A flat roof to a bay window in Morningside Edinburgh EH10 being replaced by KM Roofing Edinburgh. The timber roof deck had perished due to many years of undetected water ingress. Timber joists were also replaced after the internal ceiling had been taken down. A new lead pipe has been made and new lead cladding will be fitted to the dormer window upstand. The flat roof to the bay window is a 4 layer insulated Polyglass Ployshield green mineral system with a 20 year warranty. All roofing works by KM Roofing Edinburgh flat roof specialists.

A flat roof extension being refelted in South Edinburgh by our flat roofers. The perished timber joist and roof deck sarking were replaced where necessary. Upvc Dry Verge Roofing Works Edinburgh

KM Roofing Edinburgh, fitting a new uPVC dry verge to a property in Edinburgh. The existing cement is removed from the verge end, tiles uplifted and new timber tile batten fitted. A chimney being stripped of render near Cameron Toll in South Edinburgh. The exposed brickwork is bonded before being coated with a cement mortar scratch coat. Once dry the top and final coat will be applied. All roofing work by KM Roofing Edinburgh.

KM Roofing Edinburgh, our roofers lifting and re bedding loose clay angle ridges in Polwarth, Edinburgh. The original ridges are cleaned of cement debris, any slates repaired and the ridge tiles are then re bedded on cement mortar and re pointed.

A dry ridge system being fitted to a concrete Marley tiled roof in Alnwickhill, South Edinburgh. The original cement bedded ridge tiles were dislodging in high winds causing damage to the main tiled pitch roof. With a mechanically fixed ridge tiled system no cement mortar is used resulting in no maintenance and securely fastened ridge tiles that can stand up to high winds without dislodging. Replacement of aluminium perimeter trim to a property in Pencaitland, East Lothian. The existing trim and flashings were removed and the new trim fitted by our flat roofers with new perimeter high performance mineral felt flashings. A 3mm gap is left between joints for an expansion joint. All joints are fitted with internal hidden joining pieces. All roofing work by KM Roofing Edinburgh.
