KM Roofing Edinburgh – Today our roofers are investigating a roof leak in Mortonhall, Edinburgh. On inspection heavy moss was lifting the concrete roof tiles and together with damaged and perished underfelt was causing a leak during spells of heavy rain. As power washing is not recommended as a method of cleaning concrete tiles, the tiles were removed, scraped and wire brushed by hand, new underfelt replaced and tiles refitted. Now the concrete roof tiles are sitting correctly in their channels and the rainwater can run off the roof into the guttering.
