KM Roofing Edinburgh – undertaking a strip and reslate using green Norwegian slates laid on a breathable underslating membrane on a property in Craiglockhart, Edinburgh. The original underslating felt had perished allowing the roof to leak in certain conditions when rain was driven by rain and finding its way under the slates. A high percentage of the original slates were salvaged due to their durability and quality second hand slates to match were sourced to make up the deficiency. New flashings were supplied and fitted to the Velux windows and the zinc ridges replaced. All roofing work by KM Roofing Edinburgh. KM Roofing Edinburgh are members of the National Federation of Roofing Contractors- NFRC and Flat Roofing Alliance (FRA).
