The roof was insulated internally and finished with 3 layers of high performance felt with a charcoal mineral finish. KM Roofing Edinburgh – Our roofers using a lorry mounted mobile access platform or ” cherrypicker ” in Morningside, Edinburgh. KM Roofing Edinburgh – A strip and reslate by KM Roofing in Liberton, Edinburgh. A green slate was used by our roofers to be inkeeping and as close to the original as possible, albeit a slightly larger slate. The flat roof was renewed and insulated, and the chimneys reharled. All watergates and valleys were replaced along with the cast iron guttering. All slating works were to best practice with a 75mm headlap and double copper nailed on a breathable underfelt. The slating work carries a 100 year quarry backed guarantee and the flat roofing works a twenty year warranty. All flat roofing materials supplied by Polyglass UK. All slate stripped from the roof was recycled.♻️

KM Roofing Edinburgh are re-tiling a pitched roof in Colinton, Edinburgh, with new Marley Ludlow concrete  roof tiles. A new timber roof deck was laid onto the roof trusses followed by a breathable under felt. The entire roof was battened out and the tiles laid as per Marley specifications by our roofers. New uPVC dry verge was fitted with new guttering and facia boards. KM Roofing Edinburgh – Here are some pictures of a re roofing contract in Fountainhall Road, The Grange, Edinburgh. This project involved a new insulated flat roof system, new uPVC cupola, slating works and renewal of the watergates to the dormer windows. The original flat roof covering can be seen in the pictures in this instance made of zinc sheet with standing seams. The front cast iron Ogee guttering was also replaced.
